A new Editor rings in some changes for EASTCOASTER

As more and more East Coast Gaffers are happy to use the Internet, EASTCOASTER will have a new format from December, 2022. At the East Coast AGM, November 2022, Beverley Yates volunteered to be the East Coast Gaffers new EASTCOASTER Editor, taking over from Alison Cable. Alison became Editor for the February 2013 issue (our 50th Anniversary year). She took over from Bernard Patrick, who had undertaken the role since 2007, on the death of John Wainwright.

I’m sure everyone will agree, Alison has done a sterling job with a lively Newsletter arriving promptly every three months. Thankyou from all the East Coast Gaffers, Alison! We wish her well as she settles into life in Scotland, where she and Julian keep ‘Robinetta’ in view from their breakfast room window.
Keep in touch via the ‘Robinetta’ blog.

This new EASTCOASTER blog will be kept up to date with news of interest to Members from around the East Coast area. There will be a monthly email posted to every registered East Coast OGA Member, with updates and links to new content on the blog. The East Coast Gaffers Facebook page will also be kept up to date.

For those who still like the option of ‘download to print’, a quarterly digest of posts will be available, maintaining our legacy of EASTCOASTER going back to 1994! You can browse past issues of EASTCOASTER on the Association website. For a small fee, East Coast Members may also opt in to having a printed copy of EASTCOASTER mailed to them on a quarterly basis.
