After many years of holding our Annual East Coast Race at Colne Yacht Club and Stone Sailing Club, we returned to the old home of the race for 2026, West Mersea Yacht Club, last held here in 1998. We are grateful for the support of the Club and Committee for hosting the OGA once again. After several years without an Open Boat race (Class 5), encouraged by the increase in small boat sailors within the East Coast membership and enthusiasm of the MFOB fleet there was a most successful Class 5 Race as well this year.
