Over 20 open gaff-rigged boats celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of the OGA on the rivers Orwell and Stour from 2 – 6 August, 2023. After a Civic Reception and various onshore activities in Ipswich, there was a Parade of Sail where the open boats sailed upriver from Suffolk Yacht Harbour Levington to meet the cruising yachts who had been berthed at ABP Ipswich Beacon Marina. There were also several separate events organised on the water for open boats including cruises to Pin Mill and Halfpenny Pier as well as a Jubilee Race.
